We have a superb opportunity based in North Kent for a highly experienced Accounts Payable professional. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager you will be working in a dedicated, highly driven team. Duties will include:-
Responsibility of the Accounts Payable Role:-
- Taking full responsibility for the European suppliers
- Ensuring all PO's are correct and approved before processing for payment
- Requesting POD's and copy invoices
- Ensure payment terms are adhered to in order to avoid late payment fines as per set contracts
- Chasing approval for payments
- Raising monthly payment runs in multi currencies
- Processing credit card expenses
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers and resolving issues quickly and in line with policy
Requirements of the Accounts Payable Role:-
- Strong accounts payable experience ideally with a large group
- Multi currency
- Strong systems skills
- First rate communication skills
