Are you an experienced and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper looking to join a close-knit team on a 3-month fixed-term contract, 20 hours per week, with the possibility of a permanent role for the right candidate.
This is an ideal position for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours while contributing to the smooth financial operations of a friendly and collaborative business. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting tasks using Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain accurate financial records
- Prepare quarterly vat returns
- Monthly CIS returns
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Manage financial analysis reports
- Liaise with external accountants
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Key Skills:
- AAT or ACCA Part-qualified with experience in a similar role
- Must be Advanced at excel (pivot tables and financial analysis)
- Must have previous experience using Xero
- Strong relationship management experience
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to stakeholders
