A Qualified Financial Controller is sought by a well-established construction business based in South East London. The role is offered on a part-time permanent basis working three days a week. Reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be responsible for the overall financial function of the business on a practically sole-charge basis. The ideal candidate must have experience of working in the Construction industry, particularly the contracting sector. Excellent communication skills are essential coupled with being flexible and adaptable, self-motivated, and proactive.
Duties of the Part-Time Financial Controller Role:
- Management accounts
- Project analysis accruals/prepayments
- Cash reporting
- Timesheet processing
- Reconciliations / daily banking postings
- Sales ledger/ Purchase ledger processing
- Credit control
- PAYE / CIS payments VAT and CIS returns
- Year-end accounts
Requirements of the Part-Time Financial Controller Role:
- ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Previous experience working in the construction industry
- SAGE Line 50 / SAGE Construct Accounting systems
