Family office in Central London are looking to appoint a Part-Time Bookkeeper to work 16-24 hours a week on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role and the successful candidate will report directly to the Principals. Duties and responsibilities of the role include:
· Management of bank accounts and general cash flow planning
· Arranging payment of invoices and setting up direct debits and standing orders
· Monitoring private equity investment performance and related paperwork for capital calls, income and tax filings
· Preparation of monthly financial summaries or management accounts for the principals review
· Liaising with tax accountants for all tax payments (UK, US) and managing the relevant paperwork required for accurate filings
· Managing a payroll for UK and Over-Seas staff and ensuring PAYE obligations are met
· Reporting on house running costs for renovation projects and general operations for properties in the UK and abroad
· Ad hoc finance related tasks
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role with previous exposure to Xero software or a similar ERP system. The successful candidate will be trustworthy, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
