A project-focused, owner-managed SME based in Central London is looking to hire an ambitious ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting to entrepreneurial Directors and supervising 1 Assistant Accountant, the Financial Controller will:
Duties of the Financial Controller Role:
- Oversee/design and implement Financial Controls.
- Act as a true finance business partner with key stakeholders across the business in order to gain up-to-date data to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Lead the COO, lead on the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Produce monthly management accounting packs to present to the Senior Leadership Team
- Oversee all transactional accounting (AP/AR/Treasury) and payments.
Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified Accountant
- Experience working within a project-focused environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to mentor staff
- Strong finance systems skills
- Inquisitive
- It would be beneficial if you have worked with investors or have gone through an acquisition previously.
