Our client in the service sector based in mid Kent are now looking for a Finance Manager for 4 days a week. This is a sole charge role working for a very successful owner managed SME. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:-
- Sole responsibility for the finance function, purchase and sales ledger, credit control, banking and month end reconciliations
- Closing and filing year end accounts, VAT and intrastat returns
- Corporate tax and PAYE
- Cashflow management and forecasting
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting to the MD
- Monthly review of the balance sheet, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments
- Cost and stock control.
The ideal person will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified on an exceptional QBE, with a very commercial background from an SME. The MD is looking for direction and support as he moves the business forward. This is a 3 month rolling contract, office based for 4 or 5 days a week.
