Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for finance, HR and operations. Responsibility of the FD/Head of Finance Role:-
- Oversee all finance, operations and HR, and report to the Managing Director
- Full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Develop and implement financial strategy to drive growth, profitability and long term sustainability
- Lead the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the MD to drive strategic decision making with financial insight and analysis
- Manage relationships with Banks, HMRC and Auditors
- Hands on to complete month end process and deal with any supplier queries or bad debt.
- Project accounting for each contract, review costs and WIP reporting
Requirements of the FD/Head of Finance Role:-
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 10 years PQE
- Proven track record in a Senior Finance Leadership role
- Strong systems and excel skills
- Strong background in project accounting, costing, contract negotiation
- Hands on, to work at all levels in finance working with a team of 3 direct reports
