A charity sector organisation have a great opportunity for a finance assistant to join a small, busy, dedicated finance team, based in Kent. Reporting to the finance manager you will be responsible for:-
- Ownership of the sales ledger, including raising invoices
- Recording the bank transactions reviewing BACS and online payments
- Monthly bank reconciliations and assist with banking administration
- Processing monthly journals, accruals and prepayments
- Reconciliation of control accounts to support the management accounts
- Handling any customer queries and supplying copy invoices
The ideal person will have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounts, with knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, adaptable and a team player, willing to step in and cover for holiday or illness.
