Finance Assistant
Our client based near Orpington in Kent is looking for a Finance Assistant to join a small yet busy accounts team. Training and support will be provided by existing team members in all aspects of this varied role. Responsibilities include:-
- Purchase Ledger
- Match purchase orders and process purchase invoices
- Reconcile supplier statements and prepare supplier payment runs
- Post payments to Sage Line 50
- Sales Ledger
- Raise invoices in MIS system, upload to Sage, file with job file
- Raise credit notes if required, obtaining authorisation
- Update receipts to Sage daily
- Credit Control
- Follow credit control processes by email and phone to prompt overdue debtors
- Payroll
- Collate employee over-time sheets for payroll manager on a monthly basis
- Ad-hoc accounts administration
Prospective candidates must have proven experience in a similar role coupled with a positive and enthusiastic outlook. Please note that this role is office-based.
