A well-established refurbishment company based in London, supplying multi-trade construction services to both the public and private sectors is looking for a part-time Administrator. The person will be a key member of the office team, working closely with the Office Manager to provide reliable and effective administrative support across the company.
It is a varied role within a small business and requires someone who is experienced, organised and capable of working independently. The Administrator will support the Office Manager with day-to-day business administration while also providing practical support to the Directors, Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and other team members as required.
The successful person will be someone who takes responsibility for getting things done, understands the relative importance and urgency of different tasks and is prepared to follow things through and chase others where necessary.
The role is not simply about maintaining existing systems. It will be someone who is interested in how the company works and is willing to contribute ideas, embrace technology and help improve their processes and procedures over time.
The Office Manager will remain responsible for the overall management of the Company's administrative function and will develop and delegate appropriate areas of responsibility as the role develops and according to the Administrator's experience and capabilities.
